Sunset Over the African Mainland

Oil painting I did from sketches and photos while staying on Bazaruto Island off Mozambique. I loved the storm building off over the distance and the single cloud floating in the foreground. The dark colors of the water were particularly appealing and I wanted to catch the shimmer.
