I wanted to make this one a statement piece! After texturizing, the stretched canvas, setting up the still life with a moody light, I placed layers of transparent oil paint on the canvas until I got the desired depth of color I desired. Then I added pallet, knife strokes of thicker paint on the pot to draw attention.
