This painting was done during Plein Air Easton at the Cutts and Case ship building yard in Oxford, MD. This wood shop is one of my favorite places to paint, there is always interesting subject matter wherever you look. In this painting, I was inspired by the contrasting values of the windows, the main space leading into the background space.
