This piece was inspired by a visit to Paris in June of 2022. I was on my way to the Louvre one morning and was stuck by patterns of dappled light and reflections from a large pool of water nearby. People were quietly enjoying the new day and the green metal chairs were casually strewn about, as remnants of previous conversations.
