This landscape was fully realized with oil pastel and medium on a stretched cotton duck canvas. The scene is of one I have painted on numerous occasions, both plein air and in the studio - it captures a breathtaking view of the Catskill Mountain range known as 'The Blue Mountains,' located within minutes from my upstate New York home and studio.
