Hard Times

This pastel nocturn features the cattle I so vividly recall being mesmerized by as I walked the family farm at night, under the light of a full moon, in my old Kentucky home, far away. The work is painted entirely with oil pastel on a stretched, cotton duck canvas support. 'HARD TIMES' is considered to be one of my dreamscapes, painted entirely in my East Village studio.
