Pop's Old Farmall

This old tractor sits in a dusty storage barn in the back of the farm. It was my grandfather's old Super C Farmall and has been used almost until the present day by various family members. He bought it in 1951, the year they came out. It replaced the mules he used for gardening. Although it was now in the shed, I painted it as if it were taking a break from working in a made up abstract open field, giving life to the engine and air to the tires. It took me 4 days of returning to the barn to paint it, but I was determined to paint it only from life.
