We were about an hour ahead of the storm in Montana, hoping to beat it and get to Sheridan by sunset. We did. My daughter made it to her show in Texas on time. The folks behind us in Montana got stranded for the night, sorry to say. But that sky was darkly forboding, stunningly beautiful and part of our whole experience. An adventure, to be sure.
