Last summer I was able to be near the sea and observe the waves. It can be a fascinating and powerful sight, that can make you feel both inspired and even a little scared at some moments. I had my camera with me and was able to take a lot of photos, which then helped me to paint this painting. I chose to do it with oil paint since it's one of my favorite mediums to use and it allows me to be more precise.
