Mellow Yellow

I was inspired to paint this birch tree as the light was shining on the leaves just making them glow so brightly. I painted this while participating in a Plein Air Festival in the Fall. I just love how the leaves were dancing in the wind and showing off its bright colors against the lake and the reds and oranges in the distant landscape.
