Loss

A portrait of my Mother at my Father's death bed. The photos on the wall are from his retirement party and show important moments in his life. I wanted to give a feeling of the photos floating up and fading away. My Mother's figure expresses all the helplessness and resignation of that awful moment of goodbye.
