Surface Tensions: Reflections
Watching the surface of water has always been a captivatingly meditational experience for me. It draws me into a deeply introspective space. Rick Rubin has written, “There's a reason we are drawn to gazing at the ocean. It is said the ocean provides a closer reflection of who we are than any mirror.” In this piece I'm working to capture the memorizing effect of watching water move, the reflections and never ending movement, and limiting our view to the undulating surface of the water so that we might see more deeply within ourselves.
