Surface Tension: Surrender

This is part of my Surface Tension Series where I am exploring how we are always holding many things in tension. We often would like to resolve the tension because it feels more comfortable, but I wonder if tension is the place where beauty lives. This painting, entitled "Surrender", is about the power and beauty of the waves which often overwhelm us.
