Broken Memories
As I painted 'BROKEN MEMORIES,' my brush moved with the weight of the exact emotions coursing through me.
The canvas became the recipient of my raw, unfiltered feelings. It wasn't about recounting the past or envisioning the future; it was about the intensity of now—my heart, in that instant, pouring out through acrylic colors.
The vivid golds aren't just colors; they are the palpable warmth of nostalgia, the joy in remembering. But as my brush dipped into the whites and grays, those same memories felt distant, as if slipping through my fingers, echoing the transient nature of all we hold dear. The shift to black was inevitable, a deep, consuming realization of loss, the finality of moments gone, and the acceptance of their impact on my soul.
'BROKEN MEMORIES' is a snapshot of my emotional landscape as I created it—every hue, every texture a testament to the feelings I navigated. This piece is more than a painting; it's an emotional confession, a moment of vulnerability captured on canvas.
