Pictured Rocks is one of Michigan's more iconic coastal features, and these cliffs inspire a lot of artists and outdoorsmen for obvious reasons. I like to try explore and capture these areas in the off seasons. I made this painting a few days after Christmas during a ten mile hike through Chapel loop with my wife Maria.
