My approach to this piece is to keep it simple and elegant by harmonizing the subject and the colour choices. My oil paintings colours themes are dictated by my state of mind. Cold colours for sadness, complimentary for happiness and analogous when at peace. “Rescue” represents the help that I was offered through a hard journey.
