Life is all about balance. As is art. Finding the balance in life and art will always be a challenge. We are confronted with imbalances every day and it’s the small decisions we make that either moves us toward a state of balance or away from it. I enjoy all those little decisions I must make quickly when working with watercolor. Water has a mind of its own and my job is to steer its movement toward a balanced composition and make it look effortless.
