This is a plein air oil painting done on site at the Riparian Preserve in Gilbert, Arizona, in March of 2024. The setting is adjacent to the bee hive educational exhibit. Only one curious bee settled for a moment on the upper right corner of the panel, but left right away, as the painting wasn't of interest to bees.
