Morning Walk, Lakeside Park

On the shores of Kingsville, Ontario, The Great Migration Paint Out draws plein air painters from Canada and neighboring US states. It was my first time visiting the area and during the four-day event I was introduced to the picturesque beach on Lake Erie. One overcast October morning I discovered an excellent view of a point on Lake Erie where dog owners enjoy their daily routine. He morning began quite comfortable and with a gentle breeze. The wind picked up, but I was determined to hang in for the ride. Well, at least no bugs!
The effort was worth it when a local couple purchased the painting.
