90% watercolor with 10% gouache on Arches 140# paper, mixed watercolor brands and grades. Painted on a small boardwalk near my home at a local park with a beautiful and unusual view of St. Augustine Florida, with the famous Great Cross at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche in the distant background. I spent a few hours at my pochade box capturing the moment as quickly as possible before the shadows changed too much.
