GERANIUM
This painting depicts the back of an old factory nestled within Minneapolis's historic St. Anthony Main neighborhood. Delving into the hidden corners of urban landscapes is a passion of mine, and this piece captures the essence of urban decay and renewal.

The weathered patina, rich colors, and distinctive character of the old structures evoke a profound sense of history and resilience. Each crack and layer of paint tells a story, reflecting the enduring spirit of human endeavor and ingenuity. Notably, ghost signs adorn the surface of the bricks, whispering tales of bygone eras and forgotten businesses. Additionally, bright red geraniums adorn rustic wooden window boxes, their vibrant blooms providing a striking contrast of scarlet against the weathered brick façade.

Exploring the back alleys and forgotten spaces of the city allows me to uncover hidden gems like this old factory, where the convergence of time and human activity leaves its mark on the landscape. Through this painting, I aim to celebrate the beauty found in unexpected places and to highlight the intricate tapestry of the urban experience.
