This oil piece was done for a couple who were recently married on this beach. As I was painting I was reminded of my childhood trip to this Island and the beautiful blue and green colors that pierce your soul in Hawaii. My favorite part of this piece was painting the textured volcanic rocks in the foreground and how they interacted with the water as it rolled in with each wave.
