"The Last Laugh" drawing came about when I set up my still life with a scull and shower curtain. As I started drawing it , my thoughts were, "it needs something elegant, so I added the pearls...and then it looked like the skull was laughing at me. The pearls represent "material things" we accumulate , and the scull represents how we will all end up. A friend named it for me.
